These terms are intentionally short, because PDFConvert is a simple, free tool. By using this site, you agree to the points below.

The service

PDFConvert lets you convert PDF files to plain text, Word (.docx), or Excel (.xlsx) documents. The conversion runs entirely in your browser — see our Privacy Policyfor details. There's no account, no payment, and no usage fee.

Your files, your responsibility

You're responsible for the files you convert and for having the right to use and convert them. We don't see or store your files, so we have no way to review, moderate, or remove content you process — that responsibility stays with you.

No guarantee of accuracy

PDFConvert extracts text and approximates simple table structure using automated heuristics. It doesn't perform OCR on scanned images, and it doesn't preserve a PDF's original fonts or exact visual layout. Conversion results are provided "as is," and you should review any converted file before relying on it, especially for anything important.

No warranty

This tool is provided free of charge and "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFConvert and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this tool — including data loss, since files are processed only in your own browser session and aren't backed up by us.

Acceptable use

Please don't use this tool to process content you don't have the right to use, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other people.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the tool changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
